This bullet is designed to expand radically at intended impact velocities into living mammalian tissues. Expect a mushroom of about .85 caliber and penetration of around 18-24 inches depending on which bones are struck. This would be the ideal load for hunting smaller big game species, where very deep penetration is not needed and the bigger wound channel from an expanded bullet is desirable, such as deer or medium size black bear. As an added bonus, this ammunition can be used/fired in any 500 S&W chambered firearm.
